Question 36341: how do I find the constant of a polynomial y^3-4y^2+2y+9
Answer by ilana(307) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! As far as I can tell, the constant is just the term with a number and no variable attached. It is called the "constant term" because while +2y will change depending on what value we use for y, a term such as +9 will stay the same. So in your question the constant is +9, or just 9.
