You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
Let's have x be the number.
3/4(x)+6>2x+1
Multiply this be 4 to get:
3x+24>8x+4
Subtract 24 and 8x from both sides to get:
-5x>-20
Divided each side by -5 to get:
x<4
(Note: the sign flips when dividing by a negative number.
Make sense?
