You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you have 2 points you can write the equation of this line such that;
First you will name the points as x1,y1 and x2,y2 such that in your question (1/2,-1) is (x2,y2) and (-2/3,6) is (x1,y1) and (x,y) is unknown.
There are many correlations for example I choose;
+%28x2-x%29+%2F+%28x2-x1%29+=+%28y-y2%29+%2F+%28y2-y1%29+
+%281%2F2-x%29+%2F+%281%2F2-%28-2%2F3%29%29+=+%28y-%28-1%29%29+%2F+%28-1-6%29+
+%281%2F2-x%29+%2F+%281%2F2%2B2%2F3%29+=+%28y%2B1%29+%2F+%28-7%29+
+%281%2F2-x%29+%2F+%285%2F6%29+=+%28y%2B1%29+%2F+%28-7%29+

We have to put this equation like y = mx + n where m is the slop.
It's +y+=+%2842%2F5%29x+%2B+16%2F5+ so m = +42/5
