8) What is the probability a co-worker is absent given that it is Friday if the probability that it is Friday and that a co-worker is absent is 0.01. Because there are 5 work days in a week, the probability that it is Friday is 0.2.

P(Absent | Friday ) = P(Friday AND Absent)/P(Friday)


P(Absent | Friday ) = 0.01/0.2

P(Absent | Friday ) = 0.05


So the probability that the worker is absent given that it's Friday is 0.05 (ie a 5% chance)
