You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Wang can do the job in 20 days or 1/20 of the job each day
after 5 days Wang has done 5/20 or 1/4 of the job
--
Lee can do the job in L days or 1/L of the job each day
working together Wang and Lee get 1/20+1/L of the job done each day
--
There is only 3/4 of the job left when Lee joins in and it takes 5 days
--
5(1/20+1/L)=3/4 solve for L
1/4+5/L=3/4
5/L=3/4-1/4=1/2
cross multiply
L=10, so it takes Lee 10 days to do the job by himself which is twice as fast as Wang of 20 days to get the job done
==
So if Wang gets $100/day then Lee should get $200/day
