You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The difference between two numbers is 4.
LET SMALLER NUMBER=X
BIGGER NUMBER=X+4
Twice the larger number
THAT IS 2(X+4)=2X+8
is 11 more than 3 times the smaller number.
THAT IS
3X+11
Find the numbers
HENCE 2X+8=3X+11
3X-2X=8-11=-3
X=-3
SO THE 2 NUMBERS ARE -3 AND -3+4=1..THAT IS -3 AND 1
