x+x-26=84
2x=110
x=55
x-26=29

let x and y represent the numbers

1/6 of the sum of two numbers is 14

(x + y) = 84  y = 84-x



half their difference is 13 

x -(84-x) = 26

2x - 84 = 26

2x = 110

x = 55

Numbers are 55 and 29
