..
x+y=25........................1
2+4x=2y-6
4x-2y=-6-2
4x-2y=-8......................2
multiply equation1 by 2
and add it to equation 2
2x+2y=50
2x+4x+2y-2y=50-8
6x=42
/6
x=7
plug value of x in equation 1 we get y = 18
