: i seen similar questions like this but i still did not understand, can someone please help me?
Question:
find an equation for each line:
a line of slope 4 passing through the point (0,2)
a line of slope -5 passing through the point (3,4)
a line of slope 0 passing through the point (1,2)

find an equation for each line:FORMULA IS
Y-Y1=M(X-X1)...WHERE (X1,Y1) IS THE POINT ON THE LINE AND M IS ITS SLOPE.JUST USE THE FORMULA
a line of slope 4 passing through the point (0,2)
Y-2=4(X-0)=4X......OR....Y=4X+2
a line of slope -5 passing through the point (3,4)
Y-4=-5(X-3)=-5X+15....OR.....Y=-5X+19
a line of slope 0 passing through the point (1,2)
Y-2=0(X-1)=0....OR....Y=2
