Area of a triangle with sides: 12cm, 13cm and 5cm

*Note: Heron's Equation will find the area of a triangle when 3 sides are given

 

A=sqrt%28s%28s-a%29%28s-b%29%28s-c%29%29 where s is the semi-perimeter in this case s =30/2cm = 15cm

A=sqrt%2815%2815-12%29%2815-13%29%2815-5%29%29 

A=sqrt%2815%283%29%282%29%2810%29%29

A=sqrt%28900%29

A= 30cm^2
