Question 358263: I'm in 8th grade. I went home sick today and missed some of the classroom lecture, but took the homework home to see if I could figure it out myself. I'm stuck on this problem; 30 is 20% of what number? I set this equation up but don't know if its right; 30 over x = 20 over 100. Need help solving too. Thanks.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Or you can do it this way--
30+=+0.20x, where x is the unknown number.
x+=+30%2F0.20+=+150.
