1. What is the probability tht both women make a purchase?
What is the probalility that at least one of the women will make a purchase? Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The probability of one woman making a purchase is equal to the probability of the first purchasing, second not plus the probability of the second purchasing, the first not plus the probability of both purchasing.
We could have also worked it backwards.
The probability also that at least 1 women purchased plus the probability that neither purchased equals 1.
