315+=+%2821%2F2%29+%282a+%2B+60%29 ?? this is where i get my problem. how do i get a on its own??
Iv tried
315+=+%2821%2F2%29+%2862a%29
315+=+1302a%2F2
315+=+651a


im not sure from here?? do i just subtract 651 from both sides to find a. im not sure that answer dose not look right.?? any help would be appreciated :)

ok so i solved this myself it was just a silly order of precedence problem i was having
when i got
315+=+%2821%2F2%29+%282a+%2B+60%29 i should have
315+=+10.5+++%282a+%2B+60%29 multiply everything in the brackets by 10.5
315+=+21a+%2B+630
315-630+=+21a++
-315+=+++21a+++
+-15+=+a+++++++

multiply by (2/21) on both sides
315%2A%282%2F21%29=+%2821%2F2%29%2A%282%2F21%29%2A%282a%2B60%29
315%2A%282%2F21%29=+%282a%2B60%29
30=%282a%2B60%29
30-60=2a
-30=2a
a=-15
