You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x be the first number, and y be the second number.

We are given

3x%2B10=y and x%2By=70 or

3x-y=-10 and x%2By=70

We can solve this system of equations in several ways. We will add the 2 equations together to get

4x=60

x=15

Thus, we have

15%2By=70

y=55

The two numbers are 15 and 55.

You can check this by trying the two numbers in both equations.

I hope this helps!
