Hi,
Write the equation in slope-intercept form y = mx + b
Solve the equation for y
y + 3 = -3(x - 6)
y + 3 = -3x + 18
y = -3x + 18 -3
y = -3x + 15
slope is -3 (negative slope and therefore line slants to the left)
y intercept is 15. Line crosses the y axis at Pt(0,15)
