Graph the inequality: x - 2y < 4
multiply thru by -1 (changes the direction of the inequality)
-x + 2y > -4
y > x/2 -2
Note the red line is the graph of y = x/2 -2. blue line is x =3. green line y=5
To Graph the inequality: x - 2y < 4 if x > -3 and y ≤ 5, one would shade the triangular area
that is above the red line, below and including the green line and is right of the blue line.
