You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28A%2BB%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI%2BJ%29%2F10=90
A%2BB%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI%2BJ=900
.
.
55%2BB%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI%2B98=900
B%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI=747
Now find the average,
%28B%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI%29%2F8=747%2F8
highlight%28%28B%2BC%2BD%2BE%2BF%2BG%2BH%2BI%29%2F8=93.375%29

The arithmetic mean of 10 test scores is 90. The top and bottom scores (55,98)are eliminated. What is the mean of the remaining set of scores?
-----------------------------------
mean = (total points)/(# of scores)
---
90 = total points)/10
---
total points = 900
--------------------
Subtract the two given scores:
900 - 98-55 = 747
------
Divide by 8 to get mean of remaining set:
747/8 = 93.375
