Let t be the time of Angina's hose, then .80t is the time for Brad's hose

multiply each term on both sides of the equation by .8*18*t
18+%2B+.8+%2A18+=+.8t
32.4+=+.8t+
t = 40.5 hr
Angina's hose takes 40.5 hr alone
Brad's hose takes .8*40.5 = 32.4 hr alone
