x+=+5y+%2B+24
So
x+%2B+y+=+210
%285y%2B24%29+%2B+y+=+210
6y+%2B+24+=+210
6y+=+210+-+24
6y+=+186
y+=+186%2F6+=+31
If y is 31, then x+%2B+31+=+210
x+=+210+-+31
x+=+179
Is 179 equal to (5*31)+ 24 ???

eliminate x:
x+y=210
- x-5y=24
