Question 355219: Hi, Ive been working on structural equation modeling for so long I forgot how to do this. If you could give me an equation I could likely figure this out but have to be in court to fight a speeding ticket in 2 hours. I'm pretty sure the rate of speed the officer claimed I was going is mathmatically improbable, since I tried to look up the equation and calculate it myself but its been so long since I've done anything w/o SPSS, I want to double check. Hope you can help. If car A is traveling at 50mph and car B is traveling 27 feet and 2 seconds behind car A. What rate of speed is car B traveling?
I really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks. Sandra

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If car A is traveling at 50mph and car B is traveling 27 feet and 2 seconds behind car A. What rate of speed is car B traveling?
-------------
If you mean it's moving 27 ft in 2 seconds, that's 13.5 ft/sec
13.5 ft/sec = 9.2 mph
