You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Convert to the slope-intercept form of a line, y=mx%2Bb where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
4x=-2y%2B7
-2y=4x-7
y=-2x%2B7%2F2
Comparing,
m=-2
b=7%2F2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x=-2y+7
rewrite the equation in the slope intercept form
y =mx+b
2y=-4x+7
/2
y=-2x +7/2
...
m is the slope
so m= -2
..
to get the y intercept plug x=0
so y = -2*0+7/2
y= 7/2
7/2 is the intercept.
