Question 3551: solve the following system by any means you like, explain your answer: 2x+5z=5, x-3y+2z+=2, 3x+y+3z=3
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Looking at the 3 equations, the coeeficients of z match the RighHand side values, so the solution, x=y=0 and z=1 satisfies your equations...without doing any calculations.
To "prove" this solution, you can do substitution/elimination etc or use Cramer's Rule...determinants of certain matrices.
Using Cramer's rule, gives x=y=0 and z=1.
