I am trying to figure out the slope of the driveway -- but my Algebra & Geometry are pretty rusty (it's been 35 years) -- can you help me determine the angle/slope for this driveway. (assume it is consistent angle from curb to garage.)
Thanks in advance for you assistance. Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Recall that slope = rise over run.
In your case, the rise is 4 feet and the run is 25 feet.
So, the slope is 4/25 = 0.16 or 16%
