log%28x%28x%2B9%29%29+=+1,
10%5E1+=+x%28x%2B9%29,or
x%5E2%2B9x-10=0
%28x%2B10%29%28x-1%29=0,
x+=+-10, or x+=+1.
Eliminate x+=+-10, as it is an extraneous root (won't satisfy the original equation.) Therefore the solution is x+=+1.
