Instructions: find the slope of the line that passes through the two points. here are the points: (1/2,3/5) and (1/4,-4/5) My name is Kelly and my email is hotmominnixa@gmail.com. the answer in the book is 28/5. Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website! find the slope of the line that passes through the two points. here are the points: (1/2,3/5) and (1/4,-4/5)
--------------
First find the slope, m
m = diffy/diffx = (-7/5)/(-1/4) = -28/-5
m = 28/5
-------
Then use y=mx + b and either point to find b, the y-intercept
3/5 = (28/5)*(1/2) + b = 14/5 + b
b = -11/5
------
--> y = (28/5)x - 11/5
Oh, you only asked for the slope. nm
