Is the water tower the distance BC? Assuming that this is a right triangle, and that the hypotenuse is 100 feet, then
BC%5E2+%2B+80%5E2+=+100%5E2

BC%5E2+%2B+6400+=+10000
BC%5E2+=+3600
BC+=+60 feet
