You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hello,
We can set up 2 equations. Let c represent cranes and z will be zebras.
c+z=18
2c+4z=60
Multiply the first by -2 to get:
-2c-2z=-36
Add this to the second equation to get:
2z=24
Divide by 2 to get:
z=12
There we go. 12 zebras and 6 cranes.
Make sense?
