You can put this solution on YOUR website! ok so first thing i would do is multiply each side by 4 (which is the least common denominator), this will help us get rid of yucky fractions. so the 4's on the left cancel and the 4 on the right cancels with 2 on the bottom (4/2=2) so you just get the 2 left on top from the canceling.
simplify
divide both sides by -3, and you get

look, here u dont need to multiply right? u just need to find out the value of x.
its very simple
3x/4 = 9/2
u already know that 4/2 gives u 2. (denominator)
now u just have to find that 3 divided by what gives you 9.
so just brinf 3x to the other side and divide it by 9.
3/9 =3
therefore, x= 3
numerical simplification
3x/4 = 9/2
x = 9/3
x= 3
