You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just plug in points using the x and y values and see if the eqaution is satisfied.
+2x=6y-4
Try point (2,4)
+2%2A2+=+6%2A4+-+4
4+=+24-4
4+=+20 which is not true. So A is not on the line
Try B
(4,2)
2x=6y-4
2%2A4+=+6%2A2+-+4
8+=+12+-+4
8+=+8 so far so good
Try the next point in B
(-5, -1)
2%2A%28-5%29+=+6%2A%28-1%29+-+4
-10+=+-6+-4+
-10+=+-10 still good
Keep doing that for the last point in B
Then also try points in C and D
Get it?
