You can put this solution on YOUR website! A logarithm simply means "What power do you have to raise a number by to get a certain result."
For example, if you asked for , you are asking, "What power do I have to raise 10 to in order to get 100?" The answer is obviously 2, since .
In your case, you are asking so you are asking, "What power would you have to raise 5 to in order to get 625? I think the answer would be 4, right?? So the final answer is 4, and logarithms are not nearly as hard as you thought they were!!
