You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'm assuming that the equation is y=%28x-2%29%5E2

y=%28x-2%29%5E2 Start with the given equation.

x=%28y-2%29%5E2 Swap x and y. The goal now is to solve for y.

sqrt%28x%29=y-2 Take the square root of both sides.

sqrt%28x%29%2B2=y Add 2 to both sides.

y=sqrt%28x%29%2B2 Flip the equation.

So the inverse is assuming that x%3E=2
