You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Throughout the problem, r=60

Use d=rt to get

a) 5 mins:

5 minutes = 5%2F60=1%2F12 hours

So t=1%2F12

d=rt

d=60%281%2F12%29=5

So the train travels 5 km in 5 minutes

-------------

b) 10 mins:

10 minutes = 10%2F60=1%2F6 hours

So t=1%2F6

d=rt

d=60%281%2F6%29=10

So the train travels 10 km in 10 minutes

Starting to see a pattern?

---------
a) 20 mins:

20 minutes = 20%2F60=1%2F3 hours

So t=1%2F3

d=rt

d=60%281%2F3%29=20

So the train travels 20 km in 20 minutes

Note: If a train is traveling 60 kph, then in 'x' minutes it has traveled 'x' kilometers.
