You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope equals change in y divided by change in x.
Start at your first point, we'll call it (x%5B1%5D,y%5B1%5D)=(a,b).
To find another point, you know that,
m=%28DELTA%2Ay%29%2F%28DELTA%2Ax%29=-1%2F3
So if DELTA%2Ay=-1%2F3 then DELTA%2Ax=1
So starting from (a,b), if you move DELTA%2Ax=1 in the x-direction,
x%5B2%5D=a%2B1
The y-coordinate will move DELTA%2Ay=-1%2F3,
y%5B2%5D=b-1%2F3
Now you'll have 2 points (a,b) and (a%2B1,b-1%2F3) and you can graph your line.
