Question 349582: An isosceles triangle has two angles of the same measure . If the angle represented by y measures 30o more than the angle x, find the measures of all angles of the triangle. (Recall that the sum of the measures of the angles of a triangle is 180o.)
Thanks

You can put this solution on YOUR website! the sum of angles can be two kind, since we don't know which is the angle appearing twice
y+x+x=180, y=30+x, hence 30+3x=180 => 3x=150 => x=50°(,50°), y=80°
or
y+y+x=180, y=30+x, 60+2x+x=180 => 3x=120 => x=40°, y=70°,(70°)
