Trying to find the answer to:
-6-(-7)-15-(-12)= ?
Cannot remember how to manipulate (-7) and (-12) to work the problem. It has been a while since I've had Algebra and I am trying to help my girlfriend with a problem from a previous assignment.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Go back to your sign properties ....
subtracting a negative is the same as adding a possitive.
+-6-%28-7%29-15-%28-12%29=+x+
+-6%2B7-15%2B12+=+x+
Now work left to right
+1-15%2B12+=+x+
+-14%2B12+=+x+
+-2+=+x+
