Question 34835: Hi there, I am trying to help my daughter out with her grage 8 math. I have taken algebra before but I am stuck on this problem, and I came to your site and thought you would help me solve this for her. Your site is very useful and helpful. This question is part of her review assignment and here it is:
3(7a+5)+2(6a^2/a^2)=237
I kept coming up with decimals.
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(7a+5)+2(6a^2/a^2)=237
21a+15+12=237
21a+27=237
21a=210
a=10
Cheers,
