You can put this solution on YOUR website!

1st number = x
2nd number = y
2(x+y)=xy
x=6y
plug in the x into the above equation:
2(6y+y)=6y(y)
12y+2y = 6(y^2)
14y=6(y^2)
divide both sides by y:
14=6y
so, y = 14/6 which is 7/3.
Now, we can find x:
x = 6(7/3) which is 42/3 which is 14.
So, the two positive numbers are 7/3 and 14.
