You can put this solution on YOUR website! it never ceases to amaze me how students fail to understand something and THEN proceed to do more convoluted work than is actually necessary.
y = mx + c is a form of a straight line where m is the gradient and c is the y-intercept. We are given the value of m (-3/4) and also x (=-2) and y(=0), to find c.
y = mx+c
--> so the equation of this line is . Now the question doesn't want it in this form. It wants no fractions first, so we re-write it as .
