(K)/(-2)=7
Multiply each term in the equation by -2.
(K)/(-2)*2=7*2
Simplify the left-hand side of the equation by canceling the common factors.
-K=7*2
Multiply 7 by 2 to get 14.
-K=14
Multiply each term in the equation by -1.
-K*-1=14*-1
Multiply -K by -1 to get K.
K=14*-1
Multiply 14 by -1 to get -14.
K=-14
