30% alcohol of 50 gallons are 15 gallons alcohol, and 35 gallons water (*)

we should have 25% alcohol, knowing there is 15 gallons alcohol, equals one forth of total, hence total is 4*15=60 gallons.

Water quantity is total minus alcohol, 60-15=45 gallons water.

There should be 45 gallons water, knowing there was already 35 gallons at the beginning (*), we shall add 10 gallons water.
