As written it won't equal -1.

Unless you made a mistake in the numerator and it should be
%283n-4n%29%2F%284n-3n%29=-1
Because,
3n-4n=-n
and
4n-3n=n
So then
%283n-4n%29%2F%284n-3n%29=n%2F%28-n%29=-1

Simplify
%283n-4%29%2Fn=-1
Multiply both sides of the equation by n
%283n-4%29=-n
add -n to both sides of the equation
