You can put this solution on YOUR website!
On Bill's football squad, 1/3 of the players walk to practice and 25% are driven by their parent. The remaining 15 players take the bus. How many members are on the football squad?

Since 1%2F3 walk to practice and 25% or 1%2F4 are driven, then the remaining fraction of the squad is: 5%2F12 (1+-+%281%2F3+%2B+1%2F4%29)

We can now set up the following proportion to solve, since the remaining fraction, 5%2F12 represents the 15 remaining members, and also using M to represent the total amount of members:

%285%2F12%29%2F1+=+15%2FM

Cross-multiplying, we get: 5M%2F12+=+15

5M = 12*15

M, or amount of members = %2812%2A15%29%2F5 or highlight_green%2836%29

I will leave the check to you to verify the accuracy of this answer.
