You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(2x-5)-x= -7(x+3)
6x - 15 - x = -7x - 21
5x - 15 = -7x - 21
5x + 7x = -21 + 15
12x = -6
x = -6/12
x = -1/2
To check, replace every x with -1/2 in your original linear equation.
If you get the same answer on both sides, you'll then know if x = -1/2 is correct. I'll let you do the checking.
