Question 341291: if angles A and B are complementary how do you solve to get the measure of both angles . angle A=(15x +3)° , angle B=(5x -13)° Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! angle A=(15x +3)° , angle B=(5x -13)°
They are complementary
15x+3 +5x-13 = 90
20x-10=90
add 10 to both sides
20x-10+10=90+10
20x=100
divide by 20
x= 100/20 = 5
Angle A = 15x+3 = 15*5+3 = 78 deg.
Angle B = 5x-13 = 25-13 = 12.
Check
78+12= 90
