Question 339221: Use the given endpoint R and midpoint M of line RS to find the coordinates of the other endpoint S.
25. R(3,0), M(0,5)
please tell me how to solve these kind of problems! Truthfully, I have no idea how to solve it!
thanks so much in advance. :)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
going from M to S is the same displacement as going from R to M (M is halfway between R and S)

R -> M is -3 in the x direction and +5 in the y direction , M -> S will be the same

for x ___ 0 - 3 = -3
for y ___ 5 + 5 = 10

so S is (-3,10)
