Question 339152: i just need help setting up the problem... a virus is turning 25000 people sick every minute, the world population is about 6.5 billion. how many days will it take the whole world to get sick?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! In one minute 25,000 people are sick. In two minutes, 2*25,000=50,000 people are sick. In three minutes, 3*25,000=75,000 people are sick.
This pattern continues. In 'x' minutes (ie some unknown amount of time), 25000x people are sick. Since 6.5 billion = 6.5*10^9, and we want 25000x to be equal to 6.5 billion, this means that
