You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 2-x(1/x + 2) =19-4x then x = ?
-------------------
Using the distributive law you get:
2-x(1/x)-x(2) = 19-4x
-----------
2-1-2x = 19-4x
1-2x = 19-4x
Add 4x to each side
Subtract 1 from each side
2x = 18
x = 9
