You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the number be x
Equation:
5%2F%28x%2B1%29-3%2F%28x-1%29=6%281%2F%28x%5E2-1%29%29
Now x^2-1 --> (x-1)(x+1) so multiply the whole equation by (x+1)and (x-1)
And simplfy you get:
5(x-1)-3(x+1)=6
5x-5-3x-3=6
2x=14
x=7
Hence, the number is 7.
