15x-3=3x%2B3 Distribute.


15x=3x%2B3%2B3 Add 3 to both sides.


15x-3x=3%2B3 Subtract 3x from both sides.


12x=3%2B3 Combine like terms on the left side.


12x=6 Combine like terms on the right side.


x=%286%29%2F%2812%29 Divide both sides by 12 to isolate x.


x=1%2F2 Reduce.
