cos positive and tangent negative is in the 4th Quadrant.
Draw a reference angle in the 4th Quadrant.
Make the hypotenuse = 12
Make the x-axis portion = 5
Solve for the side opposite the reference angle.
I get -sqrt(119)
tan(theta)=opp/adj= -sqrt(119)/5
